Calls for rationalisation of staff to meet shortage
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 20: To review the zone wise achievements of the Education Sector with special focus on rationalization of teaching staff, District Development Council Chairperson, Udhampur Lal Chand today chaired a meeting of key functionaries of the Education department here in his office Chamber.
Council members, including DDC Udhampur, Anu Behl, besides Additional District Development Commissioner, who is also Chief Executive Officer of the Council, Chief Education Officer, besides all Zonal Education Officers attended the meeting.

It was decided in the meeting that the Chief Education Officer would provide the Zone wise list of teaching staff, in-position, surplus and deficient etc to the ADDC Udhampur by 22nd August, 2022.
The meeting decided that the respective Council Members shall sent their proposals of adjustment/attachment/detachment of Teachers/Masters/Lecturers to the Chairman District Development Council Udhampur to solve the problem of shortage of teaching staff in the schools, until government issues permanent transfer order so that students in the school may not suffer further.
