Vikar Rasool appointed new chief of JKPCC

Azad be chairman of campaign committee, Tariq Karra to be chairman of Political Affairs Committee

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR AUG 16:- All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Tuesday appointed former minister Vikar Rasool Wani as new president of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC).

Vikar Rasool Wani has been appointed as new JKPCC chief while Raman Bhall has been appointed as party’s working president.

The AICC accepted the resignation of Ghulam Ahmad Mir, who tendered his resignation on July 06, 2022, after serving as JKPCC chief for eight years and party appreciated his services.

Meanwhile Gh Nabi Azad has been appointed as Chairman of Campaign committee, Tariq Hamid Karra- Vice Chairman, G.M. Saroori- Convenor, while as Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Tara Chand, Thakur Balwan Singh, T.S Bajwa, Shabir Khan, Neeraj Kundan, Abdul Majeed Wani and Fairoz Khan will be members of the committee and PCC President and Working President will be the Permanent Invitees.

Tariq Hameed Karra has been appointed as Chairman Political Affairs committee while as Gh Nabi Azad, Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Saifuddin Soz, Peerzada M. Syed, Taj Mohiyudd, Tara Chand, Mula Ram, Khemlata Wakhlu will be members of the committee while as AICC In-charge, PCC President and Working President will be the Permanent Invitees.
