DC Bandipora finalises arrangements for I-Day, 2022 celebrations

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR BANDIPORA, AUGUST 06: In connection with the celebration of Independence Day-2022, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed on Saturday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the preparations.

The meeting discussed threadbare various preparations for celebration of Independence Day-2022 and Har Ghar Tiranga programme.

The DC on the occasion gave necessary directions to the concerned officers and asked them to put in place all necessary arrangements including seating arrangements, PA system, uninterrupted power supply, drinking water, Medicare facilities, cleanliness and sanitation bsides other required arrangements well in advance.

Dr.Owais said that under ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, various programs would be organized in government offices, schools, blocks, panchayat buildings and under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme, the flag will be hoisted throughout the district.

The DC asked the R&B department to prepare the stage and make preparations for flag hoisting.

While discussing other points related to the preparations for the Independence Day celebrations in the district, the DC directed to complete all preparations in time.

The meeting was attended by SSP Bandipora, Mohd Zahid; Programme Officer ICDS, Mohd Ashraf Hakak; ADC Bandipora, Waseem Raja and concerned officers from Police Army and civil administration.
