DRAC approves 39 Rent Assessment Cases in Ramban

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR  RAMBAN, AUGUST 04: The District Rent Assessment Committee (DRAC) Ramban today approved 39 rent assessment cases of different departments here at its meeting chaired by which met under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam.

  Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Viqar Ahmed Giri, district officers of line departments and officers from the Police and Army, besides owners of buildings attended the meeting.

The rent cases pertaining to Police, Traffic Police, FCS&CA, Army, Revenue, Agriculture, Health, ISM and other departments were approved by the Committee.

The Committee discussed the fixation of rent of the structures housing the government offices across the district.

As many as 40 rent assessment cases were put up for discussion, out of which 39 cases were approved by the committee in the presence of building owners and respective departmental representatives,  while 1 case was deferred for the next meeting.

Singing, quiz competitions held at GGHS Ramban

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, AUGUST 04: In continuation to the celebrations under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the Education department Ramban today organized singing, quiz competitions and several other activities here at Government Girls High School.

The Principal Government Model Higher Secondary, Ramban,   Headmaster of the host School and several other dignitaries attended the function.

  Chief Education Officer, Devanand was the Chief Guest of the Cultural and Informative event attended by a large number of students, the school staff and other officers of the Education Department.

The Students from different schools presented a colorful cultural programme featuring patriotic songs, folk songs and skits on the theme Azadi Ka Mahotsav’ and Har Ghar Tringa  campaign.

On the occasion, the CEO appreciated the DICC and host school for holding the contest to mark the nationwide celebrations.  The CEO said that such types of contests provide budding students a platform to channelize their talent in the right direction.

Later, winners of the competitions were felicitated by the Chief Guest.
