DC Anantnag reviews preparations for ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign with Municipalities
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR ANANTNAG, AUGUST 01: Under the aegis of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a meeting of district officers and heads of MCs was today held via virtual mode under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla.
The DC took review of preparations for ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign in Municipalities and it was apprised that many activities have been conducted by the departments as per the submitted Action Plans especially by RDD, Degree and PolyTechnic Colleges, Schools, FCS&CA and others.
Presidents of MCs also intimated about their activities including conduct of awareness programmes on importance of the campaign and how they are involving people of their areas in the campaign. They further intimated that the message of Har Ghar Tiranga shall be carried to all the households for necessary action.
Dr Singla also took stock of the activities which have been taken till date and expressed satisfaction over the progress of the campaign. However, he asked departments to intensify their activities across the district to highlight the independence day celebrations under ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahatsov’.

He further passed instructions for maximum involvement of PRI members in the activities and sought better coordination between departments to highlight the essence and significance of the campaign.
Presidents of all MCs, ADC Anantnag, ACD Anantnag, CEO MC Anantnag/ EOs also attended the meeting.

A condolence meeting of officers and officials of the Department was held today under the chairmanship of Joint Director Information Kashmir, Inam ul Haq Siddiqui in which the Joint director expressed sympathies with Gulzar Ahmad.
