DC Kupwara reviews digitization of Jamabandies under DILRMP

Directs officers to work on mission mode to complete targets

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KUPWARA, JULY 30: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today directed Revenue Officers of Kupwara district to accelerate the digitization of Jamabandies on mission mode and chase the daily target of digitization on priority basis.

The DC said this while addressing a meeting of Revenue Officers, here which was also attended by ADC Kupwara Ghulam Nabi Bhat, ADC  Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir; ACR Kupwara, Jowhar Ali, SDM Lolab, besides, Tehsildars.

 The meeting was aimed at to review the progress regarding digitization of Jamabandies under Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) and it was informed that the total cumulative digitization of Khasras have crossed to 175843 mark.

The DC stressed upon the officers to accelerate the digitization process to achieve the daily target of 10000 Khasra numbers so that the digitization process could be completed within the stipulated time frame as prescribed by the Government.

He impressed upon the officers that the digitization of land records is among the top priorities of the Government which needs special focus of the officers and field functionaries involved in the digitization process.

Earlier, the DC received updated status of the progress and feedback from all Tehsildars regarding the digitization process.
