HSS Jakhbar students enthrall audience at IRP 19th Corps function

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR JAMMU, JULY 28: Students of Government Higher Secondary School Jakhbar on Thursday enthralled audience by presenting a scintillating variety cultural show here at a programme on Religious harmony and tree plantation organized by IRP 19th Battalion of Jammu and Kashmir Police under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

 Director General of Police, Dilbagh Singh was the Chief Guest in this program. District Police Chief Ramesh Chandra Kotwal and IRP 19th Corps Chief Benam Tosh, besides top officers of Jammu and Kashmir Police were also present.

 On the occasion, DGP Dilbag Singh, in his address, appreciated the Principal of Government Higher Secondary School Jakhbar, Devendra Pal Singh and the staff for preparing the children for the cultural programme on such a short notice. As a token of encouragement, a trophy and Rs 7000 cash were presented to the children.

 Later, Vice Principal Satish Chandel congratulated the children and said that ‘we got the information about this program a day before but only   the talented children and their hardworking teachers  made this program a success.’

 The teachers Mamta Sharma, Anuradha Dogra, Updesh Sharma, Rahul Sharma and Rajinder Sharma participated in the programme
