DDC Udhampur reviews progress of RDD sector

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR  UDHAMPUR, JULY 28: District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Krittika Jyotsna today convened a meeting of officers and field functionaries of Rural Development Department (RDD) to review the progress on various developmental works under 14th FC, Area Development Plan, Back to village and other schemes of Rural Development Department in the district.

 The DC had a detailed review of all ongoing developmental works achievements recorded in five  blocks of Chanunta, Ghordi, Parlidhar, Kulwanta and Dudu- Basantgarh. The BDOs informed the meeting about the status of works taken up in their respective blocks.

The DDC impressed upon the officers to work with zeal and dedication to achieve the targets set for the current financial year and also stressed on close monitoring of ongoing works to ensure quality and adherence to timelines. They were further asked to organize month wise meetings and awareness camps in their respective areas to encourage the general public to avail the benefits of various centrally Sponsored schemes.
