I was inclined towards sports since childhood and started learning martial arts in 2018 but due some issues, I wasn’t able to do practice for two years but in year 2020 I again started practice, she said.
With the help of my coach Saleem Pathan, I started taking part in district level competitions and slowly and steadily I have reached to national level where I have won several medals including a gold medal, she said.
The main aim behind choosing martial arts was self defense and physical fitness, she said, adding that in present circumstances, learning martial arts mainly for girls for self defense is must and by learning martial arts, I am feeling myself secure.
Despite facing odds, I never left practice and continued my passion, she said, adding that due to unavailability of sports infrastructure in the area she is facing lot of difficulties.
I request youth not to pay any heed towards criticism but work hard and achieve your goals, she said.:-PTK.
