Day 05:- FAA aspirants continue their protest
Authorities must issue selection list at an earliest:- Aspirants
Srinagar JULY 18 PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR: Financial accounts assistant aspirants continue their protest in Srinagar for fifth consecutive day.
The candidates, while protesting in Srinagar’s Press Enclave, said they have come to know from various sources that Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) is cancelling the recruitment of Finance Account Assistants.
Rameez Ahmad a candidate said that the whole process seemed to be preplanned and a cruel joke with the aspirants. “We have sacrificed everything for this job and kept working hard to get the selection. However, our career is being ruined by scraping the recruitment process,” he said.
However, he added that the aspirants are ready to cooperate with the government, but only those who are involved in the scam should be kept at bay and those who deserve should not be pushed to the wall.

After qualifying for the exam, we thought our unemployment woes would end but the delay in the declaration of results by the JKSSB has kept us in the middle of nowhere,” candidates said.
We are not now even allowed to protest and even media isn’t allowed to cover to protest, they said.
They requested higher ups to publish selection list at an earliest so that things can become clear.
It is pertinent to mention that the Board had advertised posts for the Finance Account Assistant (FAA) in December 2020. The exam for the same was held in the month of March 2022.
JKSSB published the merit list on April 22, 2022, while document verification was conducted from May 17 to May 25, 2022.
