13 day Training programme for Garhi women concludes at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, JULY-16:- The thirteen day long   jute bag training programme for the members of Garhi Women Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, organised by Rural Self Employment Training Institute Udhampur, concluded here today at Garhi.

Additional Registrar Cooperative Society Jammu, Dr Nirupa Rai was the chief guest, while Sushma Abrol, Sarpanch Garhi was the guest of honour and Principal Centre for Cooperative Tirkansh Bhushan for Cooperative management Jammu was the special guest at the valedictory function.

In her address, the Chief Guest congratulated the organizers for hosting the training camp for the   women members of the Cooperative Society. “Such programmes will go a long way in generating self employment and self-reliance among the women” she added. She  called upon the trainees to come forward and take the benefits of different government schemes  for their socio-economic upliftment.

 Later, the chief guest distributed certificates among the trainees who completed the 13 day programme.

 Deputy Registrar Cooperative Society Udhampur Nishtha Nayyar presented vote of thanks to all the dignitaries on the occasion.
