IPS Basant Rath resigns to participate in electoral process

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar:- IPS Basant Rath on Sunday resigned from Indian Police Service to participate in electoral process.

“I wish to resign from the Indian Police Service in order to be able to participate in electoral politics. Please consider this letter as my request for resignation/voluntary retirement and process it accordingly.” Reads his resignation letter to Chief Secretary.:-PTK.
