National highway blocked by huge Boulders at Banihal, traffic suspended

Srinagar June 17 (PTK) The 270-km long Jammu-Srinagar National Highway has been closed for vehicular traffic following boulder slide in Rehampadi Banihal.

The J-K Traffic Police said the Jammu-Srinagar national highway has been blocked at Banihal due to Rehampadi Banihal.

The traffic police requested people not to travel on Jammu and Srinagar National Highway till the clearance work is completed.

A traffic department official told local media that the restoration work is underway. (PTK)
