Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar:- Prominent social activist and TV debater of Jammu and Kashmir Waqar H Bhatti has been arrested by Police.
An official said that oe of the Prominent social activist and TV debater of J&K Waqar H Bhatti has been arrested by Police.

However, it wasn’t immediately known why he has been arrested.

Waqar was booked by the Madhya Pradesh Police in July 2018 for disturbing communal harmony. He was booked for allegedly disrupting social peace by sharing a video on Facebook. In the FIR filed at the Padav police station in the Gwalior district, Bhatti was accused of fostering hatred between various communities under Section 153A of the IPC.
Pertinently, Bhatti who was protesting for justice in the Kathua gangrape-murder case, was booked for disturbing communal harmony by posting a video on Facebook in year 2018.:-PTK.
