Trapped Pak militant involved in many cases

Srinagar, May 08 (PTK)  A Pakistani militant and one local militant of LeT outfit are trapped in an encounter in Devsar area of Kulgam.

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that one Pakistani militant Haider and a local militant of LeT outfit are trapped in ongoing encounter in Devsar area.

He said that Haider was active in North kashmir for more than two years and is involved in several cases.

Earlier an official said hat a joint team of Police, Army’s 9 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.

He said that as the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter. (PTK)
