Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : With an aim to give a practical shape to the campaigninitiated under ‘Sab Ki Yogna, Sab Ka Vikas’, department of rural development and panchayati raj, a gram sabha was organised at Margund Kangan in Ganderbal.

On the occasion, BDC Kangan Yusuf Poswal said that Gram Sabha was held to prioritize works and one lakh has been given to every panchayat for cleanliness purposes.

We want to see kangan block very clean besides that we want to aware people so that they can witness development on ground, he said.

Local panch on the occasion said that Modi government has empowered PRIs and we are witnessing development on ground.

“Panchayats have a significant role to play in theeffective and efficient implementation of flagship schemes and we presented a plan for the year 2022-23 to the panchayat secretary, he said

He said that all small and big issues of all villages will be solved through ward members or panches.:-PTK.
