CRPF constable dead, ASI injured in Srinagar militant attack

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar:- A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constable and ASI was shot at by suspected militants in Maisuma area of Srinagar on Monday.

An official said that militants opened fire on CRPF in Maisuma near Dar building in Srinagar on Monday in which two CRPF men were injured.

“They were shifted to SMHS Srinagar where ASI Niranjan singh is under going treatment whose condition is said to be stable and constable vishal kumar succumbed to his injuries,” He said.

More reinforcement has been rushed to the spot and area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.:-PTK.
