SPO dead, his brother shot at in Budgam

Srinagar(PTK):- A special police officer and his brother was shot at by gunmen in Soibugh area of Budgam district on Saturday evening.

An official said that Special police officer and his brother have been shot by suspected militants in Chatabugh area of Budgam.

He said that in the incident both received bullet injuries who have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

They have been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Dar SPO posted in Budgam and Umar Ahmad Dar a student by profession, he said.

He further added that SPO Ishfaq Ahmad has succumbed to his injuries at hospital.

He further added that area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers :-PTK
