55-year-old man dies in Zangam Pattan road mishap

Pattan; 25 Feb (PTK) : A 55-year-old dies after he was hit by an unknown vehicle in a hit-and-run case here on friday afternoon near Zangam on National Highway area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Official sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir(PTK) that a man identified as Farooq Ahmad Lone S/O Mohd Ramzan Lone R/o Zangam Pattan aged 55 years was hit by an unknown car near Zangam on National Highway and injured him seriously but the car fleed from the spot.

Soon after the incident, the injured was rushed to Trauma Hospital Pattan where from he was referred to SKIMS Srinagar but the man died soon after being admitted to the hospital.

Meanwhile a case has been registered in Police Sation Pattan and further investigation is being taken up.(PTK)
