Chronic Stone Pelter lobbed Granade towards Security Forces at Hari Singh High Street, arrested : Police

Srinagar, 25 Jan (PTK): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Tuesday evening said that they have arrested the person who lobbed grenade towards security forces party at Hari Singh High Street (HSHS) Srinagar in which few civilians and a policemen were injured.

An official told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) a chronic stone Pelter from fateh Kadal Srinagar was arrested, who lobbed a grenade towards security forces at Hari Singh High street today in which a few civilians and one police personnel got injured.

Kashmir Zone Police , while quoting Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar on its official twitter handle said that they have arrested the grenade thrower, who was involved in today’s incident at Hari Singh High Street (HSHS) in which a few civilians and one police man got injured. Investigations are on.

In another tweet Kashmir zone police informed that #Chronic stone pelter Aijaz Wani S/O Fayaz Wani R/O Fatehkadal, #Srinagar lobbed grenade on civilians in which a few civilians got injured, #arrested. #Investigation is going on: IGP Kashmir @JmuKmrPolice. (PTK)
