Sopore resident dies in Kupwara Jail

Kupwara, 11 Jan (PTK): A saidpora Sopore resident, who was lodged in district jail Kupwara was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday.

Official sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that a youth, who was lodged under a case filed against him under 376 IPC, identified as Khursheed Ahmad Wani son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani a resident of Saidpora Sopore, was found dead in Kupwara district Jail.

An official told that medico—legal formalities have been initiated to ascertain the actual cause of death. (PTK).
