Thousands of people attend annual Urs of Hazrat Nanga Baji Sahib in Rajouri

Rajouri, 09 Jan (PTK) : The five day annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Ghulam Rasool Shah (may Allah have mercy on him), popularly known as Nanga Baji Sahib, ended today in Braui village in Kalakot area in Rajouri district.
Reports reaching to Press Trust of Kashmir (PTK) the Urs Mubarak of Nanga Baji Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him) is celebrated every year at the residence of his grandson and one of the most respected Sufi saint of Jammu and Kashmir, Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah Sahib, who among his followers Are famous .
At the end of Urs Mubarak, recitation of Holy Quran, Dua and Naat were recited.
On this occasion, special prayers were offered for peace and order in the state and the country.
The late Sufi saint Hazrat Nanga Baji Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him) was a pious and spiritual person who was originally from Malangam village in Bandipora district of Kashmir. Thousands of people from all over the country visit his shrine every year on the occasion of Urs Mubarak.
Sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) this year too, thousands of devotees visited the mausoleum of Syed Baji Muzaffar Hussain Shah Sahib, grandson of Nanga Baji Sab (may Allah have mercy on him).
Free anchorage was arranged for devotees during the Urs.
Nanga Baji Sahib’s grandson Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah alias Baji Sahib has a large number of followers and has been organizing annual Urs for many years.(PTK)
