Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee appeals for release of advance salary in view of Eid ul Adha

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : – President Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee, and Chairman, Jammu & Kashmir Teacher’s Association, Mr. Shah Fayaz in a press statement here on Friday appeals His Excellency LG Manoj Sinha and DR.Arun Kumar Mehta (IAS), worthy Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir to release salary of of the employees for the month of July in advance before Eid ul Adha. Shah Fayaz said that this festival is celebrated once in a year and on this Eid muslims perform sacrifices. “All of us know the current pandemic has made all of us to suffer a lot financially as well as psychologically and in the advent of Eid that too during the last days of the month makes us to face difficulties in arranging various needs for the same” he said. We all know that this year the Eid will be celebrated before 25th of the month and as per the general practice of treasuries, salary is expected to be released after the month or after 25th, that can make employees to face hardships. We at JKECC on behalf of employees of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir would like to request the LG Government and worthy Chief Secretary, J&K to look into this matter and have some positive and kind consideration in this matter. He added that the keen listening to queries acts of His excellency Shri Manoj Sinha Ji and Shri Arun Mehta ji are always worth to mention and healing touch to the sufferings of the commons”, Shah Fayaz said.

Shah Fayaz also appealed for the release of salary/ wages to temporary workers, dailywagers, contarctuals and such other need based workers who always are on forefront of various assignments and are the ground level roots to every essential departments.

Shah Fayaz in an apex body gathering which was attended by all core members of the coordination committee including Miss Aabida War, Vice President, JKECC, Er. Altaf Rasool, Secretary General JKECC, Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Cheif Spokesman, JKECC, Mr.Hatim Quyoom, Chief Coordinator, JKEEC, Mr. Shah Aashiq, Chief Media Advisor, Qaiser Bhat, Provisional Secretary, JKECC besides heads of other employees unions/associations and contractual associations stressed and appealed to government for speedy redressal of various genuine demands of the employees like regularisation of daily wagers, proper salary system for ICDS and other such employees.

Shah Fayaz assured all possible support and cooperation from JKECC in matters of J&K UT Employees. He said, “JKECC is an apex body of various employee organizations and employees unions of several departments of Jammu and Kashmir.

He hope that honourable LG Shri Manoj Sinha and worthy Chief Secretary Dr.AK Mehta would fulfill all genuine demands of the employees of the Union Territories and would consider the advance salary request in view of Eid.(PTK).
