BJP welcomes LG recruitment approval of 800 SI’s in police department

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : BJP’s Kashmir Unit on Saturday welcomed and appreciated the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s proposal of recruitment of 800 Sub Inspectors in the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

In a statement issued here, Party Kashmir Media In charge and youth leader Manzoor Bhat said the proposal of recruiting 800 Sub-inspectors is a welcome change and it will generate a employment opportunities for hundreds of families in the region.

“It is an appreciable step that honourable LG is at the forefront in terms of generating employment opportunities for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

Bhat said there is need to avail more opportunities for the youth of valley as they have suffered from the past seven decades due to leadership crisis and were ignored by the previous government regimes,” he said.

While talking about the recent political developments in the UT, he said all party meetings in New Delhi is a welcome move and those people who were against central leadership are also expected to join the meeting.

“Central leadership led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is always caring about Kashmiri people and has a special place for our people,” he said.

Bhat said it is the first meeting after the erstwhile state was also split into two Union territories. While some people have agreed while others are still thinking about it,” he said.

“We have full faith in the leadership that whatever decision they will take or discuss during all party meeting, it will be for the benefit  and betterment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” Bhat said.

He also said that they also want that there should be a elected government at the ground level, so that they can reach out to them. People have always encouraged democracy as we have seen during the District Development Elections (DDC) in the UT, Bhat added.(PTK)
