DGP congratulated promotes, their families. 04 Sub Inspectors in Ministerial Executive Cadre & Telecom Cadre
Press trust of kashmir | Srinagar : The Jammu & Kashmir Police Headquarters Srinagar has issued promotion orders in respect of one SI(S) of Ministerial Executive Cadre & three Sub-Inspectors of Telecom Cadre to the next rank.
As recommended by the Departmental Promotion Committee and after thorough scrutiny of the service records, promotion in respect of one SIs of Ministerial Executive Cadre & three Sub-Inspectors of Telecom Cadre to the rank of Inspectors has been ordered vide PHQ Order No. 1741 of 2021 and 1740 of 2021 dated 04.06.2021.

DGP J&K Sh Dilbag Singh congratulated the promoted officers and their families. He has expressed hope that the promotion will serve as an inspiration for the officers to perform their duties in higher ranks with more dedication and zeal.
Ashish Mahajan SI(S) of Ministerial Executive Cadre has been promoted the rank of Inspector, while as the three Sub-Inspectors of Telecom Cadre who have been promote as Inspectors are Ashok Kumar, Gh Mohi-ud din and Mohammad Amin.(PTK).

Press trust of kashmir | Srinagar : JK local bodies panch sarpanch association president Molvi Tariq has expressed grave concern over delaying tactics of the security wing of the J&K, UT, Police in matters related to providing security to the persons who have got threats from terrorists and are at the risk in absence of any kind of protection.
In a handout, Molvi Tariq said that despite the incidents of attacks and killings of political leaders in Jammu and Kashmir, the government has not learnt any lesson. Still those who have threats to their lives and reported the same to the security wing, nothing has been done so far and they may be targetted any time.
Sharing his own case, the president said that he himself got threatening by leading news papers from 2001 and onwards and throats by Anti national elements by posters from my basic residential areas of bemina on the walls of masoqe was reported to the security wing. Although, it was confirmed well but no action was taken to grab the culprit. After conducting inquiry and verification, case for providing security was forwarded to the department but today even after more than one year, the matter has not been discussed and approved with the excuse of non holding of Security Review Meeting.
Molvi Tariq said that being president of JK local bodies panch sarpanch association did a key role in municipal and urban elections and participating the candidates in hole valley as the media and government is fully aware, and to make a smooth ground for coming assembly elections, I have to visit the hole valley areas there in connection with his political activities and most of the time, stays there for days together.
Travelling alone from district to district in J&K and back and staying there is in no way safe in view of the threat to my life, he said and urged upon the concerned department to shed delaying tactics, understand the urgency and do the needful to provide security so that he or some other threatened leader is not killed.my self approaches the Advisor baseer khan sahib he himself approaches the IG Kashmir and SSP concern still verifications is on the way no decision is taken so far waiting for any untoward incident.
