4356 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K

Death toll rises 2967 with fifty five new deaths

Srinagar, May 13 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 4356 fresh positive cases of COVID, and fifty five deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 222763.

These cases include 1771 from Jammu division and 2585 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports twenty new deaths, while Jammu division reports thirty five new deaths, taking the death toll to 2967 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 872 cases were reported from Srinagar, 228 from Baramulla, 228 from Budgam, 262 from Pulwama, 186 from Kupwara, 304 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 118, Ganderbal 92, Kulgam 165, Shopian 70, Jammu 624, Udhampur 282, Rajouri 227, Doda 82, Kathua 157, Samba 107, Kishtwar 80, Poonch 94 Ramban 43 and Reasi 75.

Moreover, they said, 2995 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 1228 from Jammu division and 1767 from Kashmir division.(PTK)
