Death toll rises 2330 with forty seven deaths

Srinagar May 01 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported highest ever daily spike of 3832 fresh positive cases of COVID, and forty seven deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 179915

These cases include 1231 from Jammu division and 2601 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports seventeen new deaths, while Jammu division reports thirty new deaths, taking the death toll to 2330 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 1084 cases were reported from Srinagar, 309 from Baramulla, 291 from Budgam, 70 from Pulwama, 122 from Kupwara, 286 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 77, Ganderbal 94, Kulgam 221, Shopian 47, Jammu 504, Udhampur 141, Rajouri 96, Doda 42, Kathua 120, Samba 137, Kishtwar 15, Poonch 64 Ramban 60 and Reasi 52.

Moreover, they said, 1801 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 689 from Jammu division and 1112 from Kashmir division.

Further they said, out of 47 deaths, 13 died in GMC Jammu, 03 in GMC Rajouri, 02 in GMC Kathua, 01 in AKG Kathua, 04 in ASCOMS, 01 in CD Hospital Jammu, 01 in CHC Bhaderwah, 01 in PGI Chandigarh, 01 in DH Udhampur, 01 in CHC Ramnagar, 05 in Home (Brought Dead), 02 in JLNM Srinagar, 05 in SKIMS Soura, 05 in SMHS, 01 in CHC Sopore and 01 in GMC Anantnag.
