Odd/even classes are temporary, the solution will come out soon:- DC Srinagar

Srinagar March, 08 (PTK) District Magistrate Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary on Monday said that there is odd/even classes is not permanent but in coming days solution will coming days.

United Nations in a statement said that 1 lakh 68 million children are out of school globally due to pandemic and if here management is taking any step so we must welcome it.

To restore class work fully with all students will remain difficult in such conditions and there are schools who will use double shifts and some schools will operate on even odd days, he said.

There are challenges in initial days and once situation will get stabilise everything will get normal and operating schools with full strength can prove dangerous as number of cases are increasing.

There is need to take precautions and follow SoPs properly and there is need to monitor situation and see how schools will follow guidelines, he said.

There has been orders issued already under what conditions schools can be closed, he said

According to PTK, News agency, He said that where cluster of cases are coming, then school can be closed and if only few cases are coming, there is need to follow preventive measures. (PTK)
