BJP vows to serve people urges youth to come forward to fulfill dream of ‘Naya Kashmir
Srinagar Jan 27 (PTK): The BJP Kashmir unit on Wednesday stated that they would serve people without having any self-interests for power and urges youth to come forward to fulfill a dream of ‘Naya Kashmir’.
Addressing the day-long youth interaction program with young Karyakartas at Srinagar, BJP’s General Secretary (Org), Shri Ashok Koul said.
The interaction program was aimed for young Karyakartas to work during the changing dynamics of politics in the Kashmir valley and their role. How a Karyakartas would reach out to people to strengthen the party at the ground level.
Koul said from the past five years, party has been gaining positive response from all the corners of the valley and party is in a strong position this time.
“BJP workers serve people irrespective of any interests. Our maximum focus should be on educated youth of the valley who will work for peace and prosperity in the valley,” he said.
Koul said educated youth were neglected and now they want to change and work for their respective areas. They are coming forward and party is also trying to reach them,” he said.
“Some parties had created propaganda that BJP is an anti-Muslim party but we can see on ground development speaks. Majority of political parties in Jammu and Kashmir exploited people for the sake of power but BJP is the only party where everyone is treated equally,” he said.
Koul said there is a visible change on the ground as Republic Day was celebrated with full zeal and locals also participated in such events which is a positive sign for the vibrant democracy.
“Getting education degrees is not everything but we should learn from elders who have vast experience and should implement them in our lives,” he said.
Party Media-Incharge and young leader, Manzoor Bhat also addressed the young Karyakartas and described the role of young minds in the organization.
Bhat briefed that how a normal party worker should approach the common people at the grass-root level and how they can be connected to a party.
“BJP is committed to the development and would not deceive people like the other parties did from the past 70 years. Our party will fulfill each and every promise and it is the party of common people,” he said.
The youth leader said now the dynamics of age-old and traditional politics is now where in Kashmir and we should prepare new minds who can lead tomorrow our nation.
Bhat said it is BJP is gaining now popularity in Kashmir as it is youth-centric and provided equal opportunity to everyone to serve the people at the ground level.
On the occasion, BJP General Secretary Yuva Morcha J&K UT, Bilal Parry also addressed the gathering and urged them to work for peace and progress in the region.
In the interaction program Karyakartas of every district from the Kashmir division participated and briefed the party higher-ups about the ground situation. (PTK)
