Lineman electrocuted in waniarm wangath area of central kashmir ganderbal district

Ganderbal Jan 20 (PTK): A Power Development Department (PDD) lineman was electrocuted waniarm wangath Kangan area of Central Kashmir Ganderbal district this morning due to electric shock he received while checking some issues with the transformer which was damaged in winter snow.

According Sources said that, Mehboob shiekh S/o mohd shaqoor shiekh R/O waniarm wangath sustained burn injuries when current started flowing in the HT line which he was repairing this morning.

Sources Said the PTK that lineman was working “There were some issue with the transformer. We called the lineman to look out a the issue”lineman was working without any safety tool when he suddenly got in contact with a live wire,and received burn injuries.

In this condition, he was immediately shifted him to Truma Hospital Kangan where his condition is stated to be suitable._(PTK)
