BJP held more than 450 election rallies in Jammu and Kashmir to feed lotus
Srinagar, Dec 19 (PTK): In the District Development Council elections held to fulfill the dream of Three Tier Panchayati Raj in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP created a new history by campaigning bumper.
The party left behind the campaigning for the parliamentary elections with more than 450 election rallies in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir with the help of 19 star campaigners sent by the high command.
After finishing election campaigning, Anurag Thaukar, who is in charge of the election sitting in Jammu and Kashmir, J&K BJP in-charge Tarun Chugh, co-in-charge of campaigning and former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain and Minister of State for Prime Minister’s Office Dr. Jitendra Singh returned to Delhi.
Returning to Delhi, Anurag Thakur said that the people in Jammu and Kashmir have shown democracy. The Central Government has expressed confidence in the policies of the BJP, with a large number of votes cast to strengthen its roots. In such a situation, lotus blooms are set in Kashmir along with Jammu. The party will win with a strong majority.
He said that people voted this time during the tenure of the National Conference, PDP to get rid of the blossoming corruption. They also showed the coming of separatists and those who have furled terrorism.
On November 28, the BJP had stepped up the star campaign for the first phase of voting in the state. Union ministers Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Smriti Irani, Anurag Thakur, Jitendra Singh, Kishanpal Gurjar, General VK Singh and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur have given a boost to the BJP’s star campaign in the state. He was accompanied by J&K BJP in-charge Tarun Chugh and former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain. (PTK)
