Ahead of BJP rally, Grenade attack in Bijbehara, one CRPF man injured

Anantnag Dec, 17 (PTK) A CRPF man was injured in grenade attack in Bijbehara town of Anantnag district on Thursday, officials said.

They said that militants lobbed grenade forces near Bijbehara hospital leaving a CRPF man injured.

“The injured CRPF man was shifted to SDH Bijbehara where his condition is stable,they said

He identified the injured CRPF man as Ct Patil Padmakar of 40 Bn CRPF B-Coy.

He said that entire area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation launched to nab the attackers

Pertinently a rally of BJP is going on at Daro shiko Bagh Bijbehara where national spokesman of the party Syed Shahnawaz will interact with party workers.(PTK)
