Policeman shot dead in Bijbehara

Anantnag Oct, 19 (PTK) A policeman who was shot at his residence in Sundpora Kanelwan area of Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag has succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.

BMO Bijbehara Dr Mohammed Iqbal Bichoo told that policeman with fire arm injuries was brought dead to hospital.

Earlier Police inspector Mohammed Ashraf Bhat who was posted at Lethpora Pulwama was shot at his residence on Monday evening.

A police officer said that area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.(PTK)
