Announcement of economic revival package in J&K within a week: LG Sinha

 

Srinagar September 14 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Monday said that the committee constituted to suggest a package for the revival of business and other ailing sectors of J&K has submitted its report which is under consideration with the Government of India and a “big announcement was on cards within a week”.

He also said that a probe is going into the July 18 Amshipora, Shopain encounter at two separate levels and justice will be delivered.

According to PTK, While addressing a press conference at Rajbhawan here, the J&K LG said that every sector is J&K has suffered from last 15 years and there is need to revive it.

The committee has submitted its report which is under consideration with the Government of India and we hope within a week J&K will get economic Package he said, adding the Amshipora, Shopian where three youth from Rajouri were allegedly killed in a stage managed encounter, the LG said that the probe by the administration and the army is underway

We will look into the matter of Traffic Jam on National Highway due to army convoy, he said, adding that public Darbar at divisional and sub-divisional levels across the J&K UT on every Wednesday where Divisional Commissioners and DC’s will listen to the grievances of people and ensure timely redressal.

I would like to announce here that every Panchayat halqa will get Rs 10 lakh for the various developmental works, he said,adding that aim is to make every village in J&K a model village.(PTK)
