Bijbehara fruit grower setup Fruit Mandi at Sirhama

Anantnag, Aug 29 (PTK)  In a bid to create employment opportunities and to provide adequate marketing facilities, traders here in Sub- division bijbehara have setup a fruit mandi – Friends Fruit Company – at Sirhama on Saturday

The fruit mandi in the district setup by three friends, ‘Mohd Abass Dar, Mohd Abass Nengroo
and Aamir Nazir Rather, falls along the Sangam-Khiram road in Sirhama area of dechinpora belt of district Anantnag near Public Health centre and they will facilitate the Dechnipora fruit growers in the mandi.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by many fruit growers and dealers of Dechnipora area who vouched to “work together for the betterment of this Mandi.”

Fruit grower, Bashir Ahmad ,on the occasion said; “This is a noble step for all the associated members to come forward and work together for the betterment of the mandi. The payment of growers will be clear within ten days of time and fruit growers will charge a commission of 8% and Our priority is to work with brotherhood and to make this Mandi a grand success for fruit business .” We would to do everything possible to make the Mandi a better platform for business and fruit growers
We will be given due importance with better rates on time even as creating employment opportunities for the local youths,” Bashir said.(PTK)
