Imposition of restrictions in Ganderbal for one week

Ganderbal August 28 (PTK) In view of increase in positive cases, deputy commissioner Ganderbal has ordered for imposition of restrictions for one week starting from tomorrow to next Saturday.

Whereas, there is continuous surge in number of COVID-19 Positive cases in
Ganderbal from last few days; and
Whereas, it has been reporned that public unnecessanly throng to the Market(s) and
violate the SOPsadversories in vogue, and
Whereas due to spike in COVID-19 Positive Cases and non-3dherence to
SOPs/Adversores the Gandertbal residents have become more susceptibleof CoVID -19.and

Whereas, has been felt expedient to break further transmission of COVID- 19 and
has become imperative to take stringent precautionary measures by completely restricting
the movement in Ganderbal dstrict we.f 29 August, 2020 (Saturday) til 5 September,
2020Saturday)
Therefore, in view of above, I Shafqat lgbal (KAS). District Magistrate Ganderbal
n exercise of powers vested in me under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897, the Disaster
Management Act, 2005 and Section 144 CrPc, do hereby order as under

That there shall be complete lockdown in district District Ganderbal w.e.f 29
August, 2020 (Saturday) till September, 2020 (Saturday) except for Medical
Emergencies/ Essential Services.
Arny person(s)group(s/institution(s) found viclating the directions contained herein this
order shal be booked under the provisions of relevant actirulelaw
The Poice authorities /Executive Magistrates Ancident Commanders shal enforoe the
order in their respective areas of jurisdiction forthwith.
