Labour department asks unemployment labours to register themselves on department website

SRINAGAR  JUNE(PTK)Labour department Jammu and Kashmir has asked labours who have arrived from different parts of country due to covid-19 and have been left unemployed to register themselves on official website of Labour department and district administration will explore avenues of their employment in various government schemes.

“This is for the information of all such labourers who have arrived in Jammu &
Kashmir from different parts of the country in view of Covid-19 Pandemic and have been left unemployed in their native places, they shall register on the

http://www.jklabour.com/stranded/returnedworkers hosted on www.jklabour.com of the Labour Department, J&K with their skill and other requisite details enabling the
district administration to explore avenues of their employment in various Government schemes.

The Labour Department has also established help desk in all the districts for their facilitation.

Any labourer desirous to seek assistance shall visit the help desk of labour Department or any Government offices fear to his place of residence for facilitation in the registration process,” Reads the order issued by Abdul Rashid War Labour commosiner J&K, a copy of which lies with PTK(PTK)
