06 persons arrested for uploading obscene pictures, gambling in Khrew Awantipora

SRINAGAR  MAY (PTK) Awantipora Police arrested two person for uploading obscene pictures of a lady on Social Media in Khrew area of Awantipora.

An official identified the arrested persons identified as Yaqoob Ahmad Khanday and Mohd Qasim Ahanger both residents of Wuyan Khrew.

He said that a case FIR Number 25/2020 stands registered against the arrested persons in Police Station Khrew under relevant sections of law.

Moreover Police Station Khrew arrested four persons while they were gambling at public place at Khrew.

An official said that stake money of Rs 18,000/ and packet of gambling cards were seized by Police from the arrested persons.

He further added that a case F.I.R No.26/2020 stands registered against the said arrested persons in Police Station Khrew under relevant sections of law.(PTK)
