Forces diffuse live grenade in Kulgam..

SRINAGAR  MAY (PTK) Security forces on Saturday morning found a live hand grenade in Chawalgam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district that was later diffused.

An official said that the grenade was detected by paramilitary CRPF in the area and a Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) immediately rushed to the spot.

The device was destroyed without causing any damage, they said.

CRPF Assistant Commandant , Gul Junaid Khan said that grenade was detected by a forces petrol party of 173 Battalion in Chawalgam at morning hours, which was later successfully defused and further investigations are going on(PTK)
