21 cops posted in Kulgam test positive for covid-19

SRINAGAR  MAY (PTK) 21 cops who are posted in Kulgam district have been tested positive for novel Coronavirus on Thursday.

A senior police official said that 21 Cops who are posted as Reserve camp at higher secondary school Chawalgam have been tested positive for novel Coronavirus.

He said that they have been posted HSS Chawalgam from last 3 months, not in DPL Kulgam.

He further added that one cop among the reserve company was tested positive few days before after which samples of all cops posted were taken, among them 21 were found positive.

Pertinently around 80 policeman have been tested positive for novel Coronavirus in Kashmir division so far.(PTK)
