COVID-19: JK records 13th death as lady from Habba Kadal dies at CD Hospital

SRINAGAR  MAY (PTK) The death toll due to deadly Coronavirus mounted to 13 in Jammu and Kashmir as one more positive patient died at Chest Disease Hospital on Sunday, officials said.

Head of Department at Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar Dr Naveed said that a 29 year old lady from Habba Kadal Srinagar who was tested positive for covid-19 on Friday died at CD hospital.

“A 29 year old female from Habba Kadal Srinagar who was previously operated in SMHS Hospital Srinagar by ENT surgeons for Ludwig’s Angina (submandibular abscess) and mediastinitis and had septic shock, was shufted in Surgical ICU there and tested positive for COVID-19, was shifted to CD Hospital two days back, died today afternoon at CD Hospital Srinagar,” Said Dr Salim Khan Nodal officer for covid-19 at GMC Srinagar

With her death, the death toll due to covid-19 has reached to 13 in J&K including 11 from Kashmir division and 2 from jammu division(PTK)
