Bandipora tally rise to 132 as two more positive Covid-19 cases emerged today

Bandipora, May 05 (PTK): The number of COVID-19 positive patients in north kashmir’s Bandipora district recorded highest as two more persons were confirmed to have contracted COVID-19.
An official said that with two more people testing positive for COVID-19, the number of cases in the district rose to 132, as two more reported today of which one belongs to Gund-Qaiser while another to Naidkhai.The total number of COVID-19 cases in the district includes 61patients who have recovered and one death is now 132
An official told that all patients who tested positive for coronavirus today are isolated. Their family members have been moved to the isolation centres, he said.
Meanwhile, authorities have sealed several areas surrounding location of COVID-19 cases or untraced contact cases in Bandipora to prevent the spread of the deadly virus. An official said no movement will be allowed into Red zones of Bandipora.
However locals said that increasing numbers of postive patients have created an atmosphere of panic in entire Bandipora. (PTK)
