Tribute to Farooq Ahmad Lone (Lecturer Commerce) on his Retirement.

Srinagar April 29(PTK)Every Teacher has to retire one day, but their deeds and their teachings always remain in the hearts of their students and with whom he/she would have rendered his/her services.

I pay my rich tribute to Farooq Ahmad Lone resident of Goiwa Nehalpora (Pattan), who is retiring as senior lecturer (commerce) from Higher Secondary School Nihalpora Pattan at the end of this Month. I have spend good time of my life with Farooq Sahib. He is a God fearing and scholarly fellow.

This great educationist stood shoulder to shoulder with me during the formation of J&K Teacher’s Forum and continued to be a part of it since 1992. During this passage of time, Farooq Sahib remained on key positions in teacher’s forum. In the forum, he rendered his services as Chief Spokesperson, Chief Legal Advisor and Core Committee Member.

He has contributed a lot for restoring the dignity and honour of teaching community in difficult time He always guided me towards the right path. He has remained my close associat till my retirement from service and trade unionism.He is my close friend, guide and Mentor.

Our relation will continue till death. The contribution of this great soul towards his department and Trade Union can’t be neglected at any cost. He has been given Best Teacher award by an International Forum which makes his tremendous contribution and love towards his services evident. He is not only a teacher but a social worker as well.

His tremendous contribution as a teacher and social worker is evident and known to everybody. I pay my salute to this legend, scholar, educationist and God fearing leader on his honourable retirement on30.4 .2020. I hope his post retirement life will be more Graceful InshaAllah.(PTK)
