Department identify cards to be treated as movement pass:- DM Baramulla

SRINAGAR:(PTK) -District Magistrate Baramulla Gh Nabi Yatoo has directed officials to treat department identity cards as movement passes amid the lockdown to avoid spread of covid-19

“Department identity cards of employees of following departments shall be treated as movement passes for performing essential duties during the covid-19 lock down restrictions period with effect from 06-04-2020 till further order following the SOP laid down by the Health department and taking all precautions related to covid-19 including wearing of masks and hand glows” Reads the order a copy of which is lying with PTK

“The employees should maintain social distancing as per laid down guidelines and advisories/ orders issued from time to time. Further, the police shall check the duty slip to be issued by controlling officer clearly mentioning residence and place of work” Order mentions.

The departments are PHE, Forest Department/Forest corporation/ Social Forestry Deptt, Agriculture, Horticulture and Animal and sheeb husbandary.(PTK)
