Awareness drive agaibst outbreak of COVID_19 by Bandipora RR

Bandipora, 30 March:(PTK) Amid the outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemic, Bandipora RR is putting all efforts to make sure that locals are aware of the Pandemic and understand the situation better. Panar, Chuntimulla and Dardpora Army camps of Bandipora Rashtriya Rifles are leaving no stone unturned in spreading awareness amongst masses.

An awareness drive was carried out by these Army Camps under the aegis of Watlab Sector on 29 Mar 20.
The Army personnel went on to practically show the villagers about implementing the concept of Social Distancing in day to day life like while buying daily household items and withdrawing money from ATM’s. Important aspects like symptoms, precautions and measures to contain the outbreak were also told to the locals.

Announcements were made to encourage the civilians to stay inside and about importance of washing of hands and maintaining hygiene and sanitation.The populace heaped praise & gratitude to the Indian Army for this selfless action during such pandemic & envisaged the seriousness of the COVID-19.(PTK)
