COVID-19: Second death recorded in Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 29 (PTK): Kashmir on early Sunday reported it’s second Coronavirus death as 62 year old patient died in Srinagar.

Taking to Twitter, J&K govt spokesman, Rohit Kansal wrote: “Sad start to the day. Unfortunate demise of a coronavirus patient in Srinagar this morning.”

The person who died in the hospital had no travel history but he had met a couple who had come from Saudi Arabia. The couple is currently admitted in Government Medical College (GMC) in Baramulla. With his death, the number of fatalities due to COVID-19 has raised two in Kashmir Valley.

On Thursday last, a 65-year-old from Hyderpora died of the disease, making it the first case of death due to Coronavirus. (PTK)
