Over two dozen people kept in quarantine at JLNM hospital flee, brought back by police

 

SRINAGAR:-(PTK)Over two dozen people from Chattabal and Batamaloo area of Srinagar who were kept under quarantine created uproar at Jawar Lal Nehru Memorial Hospital (JLNMH), Rainawari, Srinagar fled from Hospital however were later brought back by police.

Officials said that at least 26 people from Chattabal and Batamaloo areas of Srinagar were placed under quarantine in the hospital after a positive case was reported from Chattabal area of Srinagar on Friday.

Quarantined people complaining of not satisfied with the hospital facility and early in the morning, created ruckus and broke down window panes, doors of the hospital and fled,” they said, adding that most of them are close relatives of covid-19 positive patient from Chattabal.

Officials present at the hospital said that they were later brought back by the police.(PTK)
