Covid-19: 3 more suspected persons quarantined in Hajin

Hajin, Mar 27(PTK): Three more suspected patients have been put under quarantine in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, as they were among the close contacts of Covid-19 patients who tested positive earlier in Hajin area of Bandipora district.

An official said that, today early morning three more persons, who had close contact with previous patients of Covid-19 in Hajin, during the last four days, have been shifted to quarantine facilities established at Tibbiya College Shilvath Sumbal, to protect its spread.

He, said that, they have suspected that more people had come in contact with the positive covid-19 cases in Hajin. “They are being continuously traced by our medical staff team and will be send to quarantine centres,” he said.

The administration has requisitioned 18 well-equipped hotels and government accommodations to be used as quarantine facilities in Bandipora district, he added.

Pertinently , 60 persons who came in contact with the four covid-19 positive patients, have been shifted to quarantine centres in Hajin, among them three suspected patients were shifted to SKIMS Srinagar hospital yesterday for testing.(PTK)
