Hakeem Yaseen lauds timeless efforts of medical fraternity for contain Coronavirus

Urges foolproof screening of labourers entering valley, lifting of ban on 4G

Srinagar, Mar 17 (PTK): Chairman PDF Hakeem Yaseen while lauding the medical fraternity for its tireless efforts to check spread of Noval Coronaviru in the state, has urged the need to ensure 100 percent screening of all the people entering the state especially Kashmir valley adding that reports have come to fore that outside the state laborers coming to Kashmir in large numbers for job during summer months these days, take alternate routes to skip medical screening. He said fool proof screening of all incoming passengers to the state at Lakhanpur, Kathua, railway stations of Jammu, Banihal and Qazigund should be ensured to set all apprehensions at rest in this regard

 

In a statement issued to PTK, Hakeem Yaseen while appreciating the pivotal role of doctors, paramedics and other supporting staff on job to contain spread of Coronavirus, has, urged for fool proof screening  and senitization of all the incomers  to the valley including laborers from neighboring States of Punjab, UP, Bihar, Jarkhand, Odhisa, West Bengal. He has also appealed to the people in general to cooperate with the field staff of health and medical departments in the efforts to stop spread of Coronavirus. He has also demanded sanction of special incentives for the doctors, paramedics and supporting staff deployed on screening job of people and working in the round the clock control rooms set up by the government for the purpose.

 

He has also asked the government to take all precautionary measures to ensure   safety of the medical and paramedical staff on the job and arrange, in abundance, surgical masks and sanitizers for them.

 

Hakeem Yaseen has also urged the government to lift ban on 4G internet in the valley immediately, which can be very useful for students to get online teaching – learning, in the wake of closure of educational institutions, post emergence of Noval Coronavirus. (PTK)
