Army distributed Stationary items and Sports Kits in Chuntimulla Village of Bandipora

Bandipora, 07 March:(PTK) In keeping up with the constant endeavour of the Army to connect with the Awaam and keep the youth constructively engaged, distribution of sports kits and stationary items was undertaken in an event organised by Chuntimullah COB of Bandipora RR.

The event which was attended by Brig Vivek Narang, Commander Watlab Sector RR saw active participation of 120 students from Govt schools of Kudara, Silender, Chuntimulla and Sumlar who also presented a cultural programme to thank the Army for their initiative.

Besides distributing stationary items to the parcticipating schools, Cricket, Volleyball and Football kits were also presented to the teams from Kudara, Chuntimullah, Gamroo and Arin.

A total of 235 villagers and students attended the event. The villagers and children also got an opportunity to interact with Commander Watlab Sector RR who motivated them to continue working hard and do well in life. The Teachers and the students along with the villagers expressed their happiness and thankfulness to the army for such a good gesture.

This endeavour of the Chuntimullah Army Camp was appreciated by the civ population .
